Fraps is a computer utility designed to count the number of FPS (frames per second) in applications running in OpenGL and Direct3D modes. The program is able to take screenshots and record videos with the image from the screen. It is a universal Windows application that can work with all games using DirectX or OpenGL technology. The name of the program comes from the abbreviation FPS. Stands for Frames per second.
Fraps is a shareware program for creating screenshots and videos on the computer. This software is in great demand among users, is not a video editor. It does not support editing the document. So you can use it for the sole purpose of creating the video and to capture images on the desktop.
