PowerISO is one of the most renowned image creators, disc burners and audio rippers that have ever graced our computers. Of course, it also allows users to open images in virtual drives.
The software has tools for encryption, compression, editing, and conversion, as well, and can deal with a wide variety of formats, from ISO and DAA to CDI, NRG, and BIN. If you've never had it on your computer, you're probably wondering how to use PowerISO.
First off, download the PowerISO free and install it. Make this your default software for opening image files. Once you've done that, you can mount any image by double-clicking it, because it will be affiliated with Power ISO.
When you want to get rid of a virtual driver, right click on it and hit "Remove". If you want to unmount the image, right click and hit the "Unmount" button. For burning CDs, insert your DVD or CD, click on "Burn", browse for the image you want to burn on the DVD or CD and then hit "Burn" once more.
You'll be prompted when the burning is done.
