Project 64

(or simply put, PJ64) is a plugin-based, open source emulator for Nintendo 64. This emulator is still being under development, but at the same time, it is recognized as one of the best emulator platforms for Windows, with every version coming at a different fee. Throughout time, the developers made various changes to the emulator, boosting its performance.
Like Nemu, PJ64 doesn't use HLE - which allows it to have better compatibility even with the newer games. The speed is somewhat affected, but not in a way that would make it bothersome. You will need a 600MHz processor for getting a normal, flawless PJ64 operation.
So, how to use Project 64? It's fairly simple. Download it on your computer, configure it for your system, and let it do its job. This will work particularly well if you have a fast computer. Furthermore, the emulator supports Packed rums and can be stored anywhere you want. Just make sure that you have the space necessary for it.
You may write the emulator a patch using the latest plugins, but you may also add additional patches and INI files. These will offer a better compatibility.
